So Quiet

A few people in the office are out sick. The area is very silent as a result. On the bright side, I'm getting more done, thanks to the lack of distracting noise.

Seems to be something going around. Both my parents are currently enduring nasty colds as well. Just a pre-Autumn ick making the rounds, I guess. Except for that odd twinge in my throat/ear, which is still bugging me a little, I seem mostly okay.. so far.

When I worked in an office, I loved the days when a bunch of people were out. I could get my work done in half the time. It never failed to amaze me how productive I could be without a bunch of distractions.
