The Legend of Zelda : Animated Series
Aug. 29th, 2008 10:10 amWoo, boy.
So, sometimes I'll throw things on my Netflix list for the curiosity factor. I'd watched a few episodes of the mediocre-but-passable Super Mario Bros. Super Show back in the olden days, and the Super Mario Brothers segments weren't unpleasant.
But some weeks, there were Legend of Zelda segments. And these seemed rarer than the Mario segments - I'd only ever seen two or three. Of course, now, like every other show, the Legend of Zelda episodes are available on DVD. So I decided to check it out.
As mistakes go, this probably isn't one of the biggest ones I've ever made, but wow, is that show ever awful. The writing, acting, and animation quality would not have been out of place five years before the show aired. The old Dungeons and Dragons cartoon had better production values.
