Oh, man. The bottom REALLY fell out of Star Wars cards at some point.

Proof :

Bulk Magic Cards - 55 cents per hundred.

Spellfire - Bulk rate is a dollar per thousand, but my collection (of average quality, I didn't do a lot of trading) of 950 cards is worth $34.43. Averaging out to over three cents per card. Top rare : Young Strahd, at $2.54.

Star Wars? Same bulk rate as Spellfire. But! My 1900 card collection, which includes most of the best rares from the early sets? $8. TWICE the size of the Spellfire collection and of better average quality, and only 25% as valuable to sell. Top rare : Black-border original set Darth Vader. Once a $50 card. Now 17 cents.
