Mo Better Blahs
Jul. 16th, 2010 11:02 amFeeling considerably better now than I did Wednesday, but there's still a tickle at the back of my throat, so maybe there IS some physiological illness creeping about. We shall see. Planning a mostly lazy weekend as most of my gaming group is busy.
Been busily working on Pokemon Platinum as time permits, starting to near the endgame portion. If I can stop taking breaks to power-level my entire stable, it'd go faster.
I just had a conversation about Final Fantasy with a friend of mine. Apparently, there's an online discussion about rebooting the franchise - which would achieve what, exactly? There's no continuity to reboot. Keep making the games the same way, you'll still end up with crap. Apparently there's one guy in charge of producing, directing, and character designs - I guess he hasn't had much to do in that last department since .. Final Fantasy 8? Every Final Fantasy character since then has looked like David Lee Roth dressed for a coke party at Pee-Wee's Playhouse.
