We now resume your regularly-interrupted program.

Cold mutated into sinus infection, due to various factors, and pretty much kicked my ass for a couple of days, necessitating a pair of days away from work. and when I don't work, I don't update the LiveJournal. You don't update the Livejournal, then you get the khakis, then you get the women.

Sorry, tangent.

I have antibiotics for the sinus infection, so that will follow the usual pattern, I expect. It's an amoxicillin-related pill, which means I'll probably break out like I did the last time I had the stuff - but it's not, apparently, an allergic reaction.

The doctor I spoke to once again brought up my blood pressure, which continues to track higher than it did two years ago, despite improvements to my level of exercise and to my diet. I broke down and bought a sphygmomanometer (doot-doo, doo-doo-doo) for me to be able to evaluate the old BP at home.

I also bought a wireless router, because when I feel bad, I buy things.

I buy things, too. And while I have to confess once in a while it's sandals, usually it's cool & geeky things - like a wireless router.

You poor baby. Feel better soon.

*puts on the mother hat for a moment*

Please be very careful with the anti-biotics. I had a doctor tell me "it's not an allergic reaction" the last time I took amoxicillin and I ended up in really bad shape for about two weeks. I'd spare you that kind of agony. Hope you're feeling better soon, sweetie.

Well, like I said, it hit me briefly before, and a non-itchy rash is a relatively common Amoxicillin side effect. If it were to evolve into trouble breathing, I'd scurry to the doctor for a steroid or something.
