candidgameraI am taking a week off in October - the 27th to the 31st. I will be staying home during this vacation to read and relax. I am pleased.
Workstuff is beginning to pile up on the brain, and knowing that I have a break coming is very helpful. This weekend won't be restful, though, as my parents are visiting and there will be home improvement shenanigans*.
(* Consisting of a couple hours of actual work on the bathroom remodel project, fifty smoke breaks for Dad, work on some other half-assed project that isn't as important, and the only peace amongst the three of us coming when we stop working and go out for a movie, provided Dad doesn't insist on a trip to Lowe's or Home Depot.)
